About Richard Halliday

Canadian born Hairstylist, Makeup Artist Richard Halliday began his stellar career as a hairstylist and model in the Toronto area.

His thirty years behind the artists chair in television, theatre and fashion made him a studio regular.

His brushes became magic wands, and along with his winning smile, he became very connected with decision makers in entertainment. With a growing celebrity roster, a degree in broadcast journalism, his progressive people skills make him a popular "on air" style personality with a tight game plan for the business of beauty.

Lecturer, teacher, event and fashion producer for television and stage, Richard has all the "buzz on the beauty biz".

The Mr. Blackwell of Los Angeles called Richard the "Image Ambassador" as being the first Canadian to deliver American and European standards in makeup artistry, which made him popular in his continuing liaison with Hollywood. His involvement with major charities is relentless. Rich is also Creative Director and Instructor for the Makeup Artistry Program at Oakville College.
